With all its economic power, you’d think that America would have the means to take care of its citizens’ health a bit more. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and the fast food obesity in America is higher than anywhere in the world. According to nation-wide statistics, about one third of all American adults suffer from obesity – a number that is a result of a two thirds increase from 20 years ago. Fast food and child obesity are also closely related, and it the past 30 years it was found that the number of obese children has tripled! There are currently about 300,000 obesity-related deaths per year, which only happens to be second to deaths caused by tobacco smoking.
