Chest Rash

  • What causes chest rashes and/or body rashes?
  • What you should do if you see a body rash or chest rash?
  • Chest rashes causes, what you should watch out for when you see a rash!

It is pretty obvious that there are many different causes for a chest rash and body rash. However, if you do not know any chest rash causes you will not know what to look for! In this article, we will explore some of the most unusual causes for a chest rash and a body rash.

1. Anxiety

Anxiety is honestly one of the most unusual causes for a chest rash or even a full body rash! Not that many people know that anxiety and stress can cause a chest rash or a body rash, but it can definitely happen! If you really think about it, your body can definitely react to your emotions and if you are feeling particularly stressed or anxious, your body can react with a body rash!

2. Allergies

Allergies are definitely one of the many chest rash causes that can eventually lead into a body rash. Certain medicines, insect bites, metals, foods, dyes and even common things like laundry detergent and hand soap have been known to cause rashes on people due to the fact that they are allergic to them. Some other common things that people can be allergic to are dust, certain body soaps and even certain fabrics. The best thing to have done is an allergy test to find out what may be causing the rash.

3. Fungal Infections

Fungal infections are definitely one of the most usual causes of chest rashes. Ringworm is the most common fungal and if you believe you may have ring worm, you should absolutely consult your doctor before you do anything else. Ringworm rashes usually are in a perfect circle or they come in an oval shape. Ringworm is not something to wait on and if you think you may have ringworm, you should see your doctor immediately.

4. Vaccinations

While many people believe that vaccinations are supposed to prevent everything and anything from happening, some people end up with a chest rash or an entire body rash from them. This can be due to allergy of the vaccination itself or simply a reaction to it.

5. Pityriasis rosea

You could have Pityriasis rosea. This is basically a skin irritation similar to psoriasis and discoid eczema. While it is not harmful overall, you do develop large patches of pink or red skin that is very flaky, oval-shaped and definitely looks worst than it actually is. It usually takes about twenty days from the initial spotting of the rash for it to spread and while it may look and feel like acne, it definitely is not. There is not treatment for this rash, but it does usually only last a few weeks, only a few cases have been reported to last longer than that.

As you can see, there are many different causes for chest and body rashes. If you find that you are constantly getting a rash then you should talk to your doctor about and possibly get on some medication or have an allergy test done. Rashes are not normal and they are certainly the first sign that something is wrong in your body.

I have a chest rash, but I don't think any of the above is the cause. It's definitely not ringworm, allergies, or the rosea thing, and I'm not really experiencing much anxiety. Is there anything else it could be? Should I just go see a doctor or just stop worrying about it?
