Natural Methods to Make Your Skin Look Smooth and Sexy
- The trick to anti aging skin care treatment is with vitamins, drinking more water and exercising more often
- Getting more sleep is another anti aging skin care option
If you’ve always wanted to make your skin look smooth and sexy but never knew how to do it, there are some easy to follow methods that can help you achieve that goal. The best part is you won’t have to buy any special lotions or skin care products to achieve the goal in most cases. You’ll find plenty of natural steps towards beautiful skin. Here are just a few.
Plenty of Vitamins
You may not have made the connection between vitamins and healthy skin but the connection is definitely there. If you want sexy skin, you’ve got to begin by making sure you’re getting all of the vitamins your body needs. Of course, there are a few key nutrients. Vitamin A, for example, has been proven effective against dryness and may even help slow down the aging process. Vitamin B promotes good circulation which helps your skin repair itself from any damage while Vitamin C is necessary for healthy collagen production. Without enough collagen, your skin will lose its elasticity and will start to look old faster than it should.
The good news is you don’t need supplements to benefit from these vitamins. Strawberries, yogurt, and leafy green vegetables are all good sources of these vitamins.
Another important nutrient for smooth and sexy skin is water. Obviously, water is important for your body which is primarily made of fluids anyway. However, water is also important because it keeps your skin moist from the inside out. Most people, unfortunately, do not drink enough fluids. Caffeinated and sugary beverages can actually speed up dehydration instead of fixing the problem. Remember that water is the best choice but low-sugar drink mixes that are blended with water can also be a good choice if you’re not keen on the taste of plain water. Shoot for between six to nine 8 ounce servings per day.
Exercise isn’t just good for your physical health; it’s also good for your skin. When you do anti wrinkle exercises, for example, your skin – just like any other organ – gets a workout. Circulation is improved and that’s good for plenty of reasons. Plus, your body will sweat and that’s another way to moisturize your skin, even though we tend to think of sweat in negative terms.
Did you know that not getting enough sleep could show in your skin? It’s true. Our skin is being damaged all of the time without our knowledge because it is always coming into contact with harmful things in our environment. All of that damage needs to be healed and that can really only happen while we’re sleeping. If you don’t get enough rest though, your skin can’t heal properly and will begin to show signs of damage, such as those pesky signs of aging most of us want to avoid.
The best advice here is to get your eight hours minimum of sleep a night. If you have trouble getting to bed, try a warm shower and some lavender moisturizer. Lavender is believed to have soothing and relaxing aromatherapy properties that will help you rest.
