The XY Side of Nose Jobs: Male Rhinoplasty

Male rhinoplasty is becoming more common, and rhinoplasty for men can involve different factors and considerations than the same surgery for women. The cost of rhinoplasty can vary, depending on the type and degree of work being done, the surgeon or physician doing the work, and the extent of the changes required. Male rhinoplasty can help you if you are a man who is not happy with your nose, for any reason. For some men a broken nose at some point in the past may have left a nose which is squashed, crooked, or has a large lump. You may want a nose which has a stronger appearance, and that fits better with your other facial features as well. There are procedures which involve traditional surgery, and others that are non invasive and accomplish the results with injections instead.

Male Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty for men has become a much more common procedure, and many more men are getting this done for a number of reasons. If you are considering male rhinoplasty, one factor that you need to consider is your budget and the cost of rhinoplasty. Options can range from around five hundred dollars for a single injection of contouring agent or cosmetic filler to thousands of dollars or more for traditional surgery that is extensive. Male rhinoplasty may also be done for medical reasons as well as cosmetic ones, and if you suffer from a deviated septum this may be corrected in the process as well. Usually these procedures can be done in the office of the surgeon with IV sedation and a local anesthetic, but this may not always be possible.

I am seriously considering rhinoplasty, but I'm scared. I mean, I have read all kinds of horror stories about the side effects of plastic surgery, and I don't know if it will happen to me. Maybe you can help clarify about who should and shouldn't get rhinoplasty. Are some people more susceptible to side effects than others?
