Moreover, Vitamin C is a very strong antioxidant, which negates free radical effects in the body. These free radical have been proven to cause serious conditions like cancer, and they also lead to cell damage and contribute to the aging process.

3. Nuts. These are also a great way to improve blood circulation, because they contain niacin, a substance that better known as vitamin B3. This is an important nutrient, which gives your blood a boost. This makes nuts one of the best blood circulation aids you can find.

4. Watermelons. These contain a great deal of lycopene, which is a substance known to prevent plaque build-up in blood vessels, which sometimes block circulation, or at least interfere with it. So, eating watermelon is a great way to improve blood circulation, because it promotes the health of your arteries.

5. Garlic. Apart from its various other benefits, garlic can really help with bad blood circulation. It helps prevent plaque build-up in blood vessels, and it can reduce the amount of plaque in the arteries in general. Garlic also helps thin the blood.

I don't have health insurance and can't afford to see a doctor. when I sit on the floor my legs will fall asleep. If I sleep on my stomach I awake to find that my arm will be asleep. I don't know if it's poor circulation or not. I am anemic and have low blood presure. I do not drink or smoke. I don't know what could be causing it.
