1. Low Gas-Producing Foods. If you know which foods trigger the production of gas, it is easy for you to decrease their intake. This way you can decrease the amount of gas that gets trapped in your large intestine when the bacteria is breaking down the food. For easy bloating relief, some gas-producing foods you should avoid are beans, cheese, cabbage, artificial sweeteners, potatoes, and artichokes.
2. High Fiber. Another way to stop bloating is with a high fiber diet. Bloating happens because of an excess build-up of undigested food in your intestines, which is often the result of a lack of fiber. Eating high-fiber foods helps the movement of the bowels, so the waste gets easily eliminated, without having the chance to build up. High-fiber foods include whole wheat products and most vegetables and fruit.
