1. Do Not Be Afraid

First, you need to realize that spider bites are not all that painful and to be honest, most spider bites go unnoticed until the symptoms start to show up. So you will not necessarily know if you have been bitten by a spider right off the bat.

2. How to Detect Spider Bites Symptoms

Some common spider bite symptoms can be anything from swelling, redness, itching and finally pain once the bite is noticed. The pain level and just how fast you will notice the spider bite all draws back to what type of spider it is. Firstly, you always want to make sure that you wash the spider bite with soap and water. This will disinfect the wound and make sure that the spider bite will not get infected.

4. Use Ice Cubes if Available

Another fantastic spider bites treatment is applying an ice cube directly to the spider bite for about twenty minutes, this will numb the area and make sure that if there is going to be a skin rash, that the skin rash is held at bay. Ice cubes are not only a great way to keep a skin rash at bay, but they also help a lot with the pain of a spider bite.

5. Use Topical Antibiotic Medicine

If a skin rash does come about, it’s okay! There are a few skin rash treatments that will definitely help. One is applying a topical antibiotic medicine to the bite two or three times a day, this will not only help with the pain but it is one of the most effective skin rash treatments available.

Now that you have gone through all five tips and tricks when it comes to spider bites, you should know that there are a few poisonous spiders around and if you or someone you know gets bit by one of these, you should definitely contact the poison control. You may be on the verge of Lyme disease from the bite of a deer tick - they are very small creatures. Please, please see your doctor. The disease can be very dangerous, but can be treated amazingly well with antibiotics if caught soon - and it sounds like you are in the window for early treatment.

I noticed a bite mark 5 days ago after having a backyard bonfire. It looked like a mosquito bite, so I left it alone. But I am very immune to mosquito bites and the pimple from it usually leaves within one day, this one on my arm started oozing out some clear liquid and started getting worse. Then as time passed, tiny little blisters with redness around the bite occured, making it look like the bullseye. It doesn't hurt if I don't touch it, and it itches a little, but not too bad, it only looks horrobile. The bullseye keeps getting a little wider by the day. I live in an area with no poisoness spiders, but I definetly think this could be a spider bite that I have. No poison, no other symptoms than slight itching, no reason to go to the doctor, everything else I have done have not worked really. It is not too big at all, but really annoying me, want it gone!!!

I think I may have been bitten by a spider. Have a pontoon boat at river we keep at the marina. Every time we take the boat out, always brushing away spider webs. Noticed I was itching a lot & a large red bump outside my knee. How long after the bite do symptoms appear? It's been 3 days. Nothing severe. Just itching & redness around area. Washed area well & applied Neosporin.

One symptom I get of spider bites is usually a hard lump around the bite site with the two small pinprick spots in the middle. If you've noticed that, then your probably got pegged by an arachnaid.
